Jane Hunt

Jane is an innovative social-change leader with over two decades of experience addressing complex social challenges across Australia. Her career spans CEO, Executive and Board roles, with a strong focus on children and families, women’s economic participation, education, homelessness and youth initiatives. Jane has been a driving force in mobilising government, business, philanthropy and the for-benefit sector to tackle inequity through collaborative action.

Internationally recognised by the Schwab Foundation as a Social Entrepreneur, Jane has participated in World Economic Forum events and received multiple Australian honours, including a Victorian Telstra Business Women's Award and the Melbourne Business 3000 Award for Community Innovation.

Jane founded the Front Project in 2016, leading transformative work in early-childhood education and care. Under her leadership, it became one of Australia’s most influential organisations in improving early-learning outcomes and strengthening systemic capability within the sector.

Jane holds a BA (Hons), MA (Hons) and an MBus (Leadership) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has completed executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School, INSEAD, and the Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) program.
