Connect to Industry

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is committed to the active engagement of children, young people, and their educators. By involving children and young people directly and capturing their voices, we can create more effective programs, resources and advocacy efforts that genuinely reflect their needs, protect children’s rights, and support their safety and wellbeing.

Complete the Expression of Interest form to stay up to date with upcoming consultation, co-design, and testing opportunities. These activities give children and young people the chance to share their experiences, insights, and ideas, helping shape the Foundation’s work.

Youth Advocacy Project

One way the Foundation amplifies student voice is through the Youth Advocacy Project, generously funded by the Vincent Fairfax Family Trust.

This program provides Year 7–10 students with the opportunity to work in teams and participate in in-depth workshops guided by experienced facilitators. Students build skills in online safety and advocacy and are supported to develop and pitch an advocacy solution to a panel.

Selected teams receive ongoing support to co-design and bring their ideas to life, including collaboration with a professional creative agency.

If you know a group of Year 7–10 students who may be interested, please indicate your interest using the form below, and we will be in touch with relevant opportunities throughout the year.
